    Xbox one S dvd skipping problem


    So I have the Xbox one S, it plays games perfectly, can watch dvd series (eg. Brooklyn 99, Big Bang Theory) without issue, but when i watch movies. (any movie, have tried 15+ dvds) i always get one skip, now its not a huge problem, its only a second or two in the middle of the film and then its fine for the rest of the film, but its incredibly annoying. Does anyone know of a solution? Is it the disc reader? Is it the application itself?

    Seperate DVD player app

    The last time i played a DVD in my Xbox One was a while ago and it started to skip during playback. It would do it on every DVD i played.

    Problem reading discs

    Exchanged the Xbox at shop I bought it from, it played one DVD so I thought great but no same problem when I tried another one yesterday and the DVD plays fine in the other Xbox, PS3 and DVD player at home and a Xbox s at someone else's home!! Needs sorting!

    I had disc-reading problems until the dvd-rom crashed on my old xbox,nothing on my new one,worked fine for almost a year now...

    Is this on all DVDs? Several games? First off, confirm that the discs aren't dirty or scratched at all. If they're not, you may want to give

    UPDATE: Xbox One S returned. No solution for audio sync issue on DVD/Blu-ray playback.

    After scouring the internet I cannot find a solution. The Xbox Support seems to be correct. There was an issue with the Xbox One S where the audio was not in sync with the video on DVD and Blu-ray playback. I returned the Xbox One S.

    Hopefully few other experience the issue.
