Xbox One s doing dodgy things

Hey!

I just got a brand new xbox one s with fh3 around 2 weeks ago, and its been pretty good so far, until recently, its been doing some REALLY dodgy things.

It al started when i turned it on after not playing for about a week due to holidays. I went to go play fh3 and it said it couldn't load my save. then it just signed me out and asked for my password. I did what it asked, then played again. I loaded up the
game, then pressed 'a' to start. then i listened to the song that plays on the starting screen. 'take me awaywaywaywaywyaywyyyyyayayayaya' then it froze. weird, and i got freaked out because the game audio was distorted and stuff. so i reset my console and
tried again. everything is fine now, except the frame rate drops are very frequent (usually i get them every 30mins-1 hour, but now every 10 mins or more, and they last longer), and im having alot of connection errors, like waiting 5-10 mins until it connects
to xbox live, or when im doing fh3 skills, like drifting, instead of a car drifting symbol, i just get a gray square sometimes, or sometimes when i load up the auto show or garage, some of the options are just gray squares for a few seconds... any help? should
this be on discussion or support?

Xbox One Doesn't Connect to Wifi After Startup

Same thing is happening to me man. I'm on second S and it's doing the same thing. IT has to be a firmware glitch. Because my last Xbox One S was fine for two weeks, than the problem started happening. And it's doing it to my new exchanged Xbox One S.

Thanks Heisenberg for info on the 10 bit. Do you have the Xbox one S? Is yours doing the blinking thing?

 

Sounds like you may have a faulty console.

As it's only 2 weeks old I would take it back to where you bought it from with the receipt & get it exchanged.

Although it may be the console itself I would check your broadband/network connection as it should not take that long to connect to live.

 

thanks for the help, but if i switch to network settings fast enough, it shows that it's on a wired connection, instead of a wireless connection, which i use. then after 2-5 mins its switches to wireless and connects to my network. (also,
the lag spikes are becoming less frequent)
