    XBOX One S DLNA Problems


    My XBOX One S and original XBOX One are able to detect the DLNA Server that is hooked up to my router, but it does not find any of the files. I do not know when this problem came about because I have not used it in a while, but it did used to work, and now
    im having this issue.

    I have tried resetting my router, checked permissions for the server, everything works find on my Macbook and other devices, its only my Xbox One S and regular XBOX One that are doing it.

    Are there any known issues with this or any guidance that can be given to resolve the issue?

    Xbox One will be supporting DLNA on it's media player app with the upcoming October dashboard update, so this should be possible without problems.

    It's already possible to stream media towards the One with the windows media player, but with the next update the One will be able to browse for DLNA servers within the network it's connected to.

    Xbox One S - Media Player error playing DLNA Stream - error code 0xc00d11cd (0x8000ffff)

    Having a probleme with Xbox One S (500 GB) and Media Player when I am trying to watch a TV-Stream provided by DVBLink Streaming Service (DVBLogic) in my local network. Any other device in my local network has no problem (Windows 7 Desktop, Windows 10 Desktop,
    Windows 10 Tablet (all on Anniversary Update)). Even PS3/PS4 and Mobile Phone can connect to the DLNA Stream - only the new Xbox One S fails to do so. Error code 0xc00d11cd (0x8000ffff). Help appreciated!

    My Xbox doesn't even detect my PC. When I launch the media player app, I get the message that I have to connect to a DLNA server or USB drive to view media. If I launch my Xbox 360's media app, I see my desktop's DLNA server in addition to the Plex server
