Xbox One S Display Upgrade

Discus and support Xbox One S Display Upgrade in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hello. I am possibly looking to upgrade my display for my Xbox one S.     Xbox One S Display Upgrade


    Hello. I am possibly looking to upgrade my display for my Xbox one S. I mainly play FPS games, like call of duty. Here is my current monitor. VG248QE | Monitors | ASUS USA So
    not too bad at all. Prob overkill on the 144 hz refresh rate since consoles will only go to 60hz. So here are the two I am, thinking about getting. First is this. MG24UQ | Monitors | ASUS USA 4K.
    Of course gaming won't support the 4K until project Scorpio. But only video at this moment. But it is an ips display with a lot higher contrast ratio. My current monitor is 1ms refresh rate and this is 4ms. And this monitor only supports 60hz. But guess that
    is not a big deal since it will only be used with my console. My second choice is this. https://www.asus.com/us/Monitors/ROG-SWIFT-PG248Q/
     Back to 1ms refresh rate and 1080p. Does support a crazy 180zh refresh rate. Which won't benefit me. And I believe it is not and ips display. Seems like it might be the better monitor, but only for PC. Where the 4K has a lower ms and lower refresh rate.
    But is better for console because the ips display and the 4K. Making it more future proof for consoles in the future. Or should I not even mess around and keep my current monitor. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

    You don't need to worry about what HDMI your TV has. An Xbox One X connected to Full HD display will still perform to the fullest on your TV. only it will downscale 4K enhanced games to 1080P using it's own 'Super Sampling technology. Enhanced games will
    still play and look better on your One X console compared to an original Xbox One or One S hooked up to a Full HD display.

    And when you upgrade to the Full 4K experience, you'll get the full resolution of enhanced games plus HDR. Like others have said, you don't need to buy a 4K display to experience the One X.

    The offer was 30,000 for upgrading from a 360 to xbox one and 50,000 for upgrading from a xbox one to xbox one s.

    I have an xbox one s and personally I'm holding off on the x until I have a 4k display. There are some improvements in overall specs but not enough in my mind to warrant upgrading just from an S. If your console is older, out of warranty and facing
    issues, I would possibly consider getting the X instead of a S if you have to buy a new system in general.

    There were two offers running at that time for upgrading. The 50,000 credit offer was only sent to certain members and was not available to everyone. If you did not receive the specific email, you would receive the default offer of 30,000 credits. If I remember
    right, the 50,000 were for upgrading from a 360 to a One S.
    I received the offer for upgrading from an xbox one to a xbox one s. I even spoke to someone before I purchased the xbox one s to confirm how the promotion worked. I upgraded my xbox one to an xbox one s and should have received 50,000.

    To be clear, did you buy a One S or a Series S? Does it have a disc drive?

    You shouldn’t get any upgrade prompts on a One S, X/S games will not run on a One S, if you upgraded the game to the X/S version, so if you have One S, you should decline upgrades

    It's just xbox one

    With one x gets HD upgrades when available
