    Does anyone else have this problem or have a fix?

    Since December I've been having a problem with my XBox's network capabilities.

    My internet is fine, my other consoles all connect and play perfectly well.

    I have noticed this problem when I'm trying to play or use an app that requires network connectivity.

    I can download updates for apps and games, and download games and apps themselves just fine.

    When I load a game that needs the internet to play (Like Elder Scrolls Online, or any game with an online multi-player feature) or an app that is designed to stream internet content (Like Netflix, All 4, BBC iPlayer, or Amazon Prime Video) EXCEPT YouTube which works just fine, my XBox moofs itself.

    So let's say I want to watch Stranger Things. I check my console is connected to the internet, it is with a strong WiFi signal, I open Netflix, the app opens up and signs me in BUT after I select my user it won't load the show selection screen. It tells me my XBox is not connected to the internet. I then go into my connection settings and it shows I am disconnected.

    Nothing will induce the XBox to reconnect to the network and I am forced to restart the console.

    EVERY time I try to open a streaming app or a game that requires me to connect to the internet (like online Minecraft servers, Stardew Valley Multi-Player, Fortnite, COD Online, etc.).

    I have looked and can't find any information that this is a known bug or something XBox is working on fixing, I've tried all the troubleshooting guides for network connectivity issues (ALL OF THEM), I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps and games in question, I've tried updating my console to the latest firmware updates, I feel like I have tried everything. I am honestly at my wit's end.

    Microsoft will not let me chat to an adviser about this and repeated pleas to their online support service on Twitter have gone unanswered.

    I am baffled as to why certain features like downloading software, updates, or streaming from YouTube work just fine but other online services don't and force my XBox to take itself offline!

    Please can anyone help???

    Streaming to windows 10

    Hi, I am trying to stream a game to my windows 10 but every time I do, the controller stops working, it says that it is not plugged in to the pc otherwise disconnects from my Xbox One, stopping the stream.

    anyone know what's going on? I'd be extremely grateful!

    Make sure you load xbox hub on console and look for stream test in settings-if the streaming test is not there you won't be able to access games on your Xbox one. Try this at home for some reason I could load my games from 1st gen Xboxone but not from

    @DSTRBD FFMEDIC thanks for the reply. Yes, both are on the same wi-fi network. They are both actually hardwired into the same router.

    Since I last posted, I've been able to get the app to connect to the xbox, but it disconnects within 30 seconds every time I try to stream.

    Game streaming resolution when TV is off or on different input

    Here's some additional details for Microsoft. I am using two xbox ones and a windows 10 pc:

    - an original model xbox one connected to a 1080p tv and a wireless AC network connection

    - an xbox one S connected to a 4K tv and wired networking

    - windows 10 pc with a 1080p monitor and wired networking

    Game streaming works perfectly to the original model xbox one with a wireless connection. From my windows 10 PC I can turn on the console, start streaming, and the resolution is great.

    With the xbox one S though, even though I have a wired network connection to both the PC and that xbox, I will only be able to stream in 640x480 resolution unless I turn on the TV before I try to stream. I can also report that if I do turn on the TV first
    and begin streaming in 1080p, I can then turn off the TV without affecting my 1080p streaming until I turn the xbox off.

    This appears to be a bug for our particular configuration, and it's not getting any attention from Microsoft because their streaming test cases are passing. It could be a difference of original model xbox vs. xbox one S, but I'm expecting it has something
    to do with the 4K display settings on the xbox, HDCP, and/or trying to stream to a lower resolution of 1080p.
