    Xbox One S disconnects every time it’s turned on.


    Every time I start up My Xbox One S I have to select the network I want (it’s the same network every time), then put in the password, then My console can’t find an IP address so I have to restart my Wi-Fi router. And then it connects once the router gets back on. The whole process takes about 20 minutes so it’s very inconvenient plus all other devices get disconnected when I restart the router. (The power supply of the Xbox is never disconnected, and I turned off energy saving mode but it’s no help)

    Any help would be greatly appreciated,

    I am trying to get my hands on one. Since I posted that query my Xbox has completely stopped connecting to the internet. I’ve tried all the steps it recommends but non of them work.

    That must be very inconveniencing. You can try power cycle your console. You can also try reset your console and see if this fixes the issue.
