Xbox one s, disc installation stopping

My Xbox has been doing this for awhile and I can't make any sense of it. Any and I MEAN any game I download on disc stops downloading. Whether on 2% or 22. It doesn't matter it just gets stuck and stop. You can hear you the disc inside start to spin hard like its about to start downloading then the sound just abruptly stops. And this sound continues even when I left it on overnight. The disc eta time goes away when it gets stuck too. I don't have wifi, I haven't had wifi for years. So I can't digitally do anything. I've tried restarting my Xbox , unplugging and plugging. It's so infuriating. This is the last nail in the coffin.

Try to install another disc game in your Xbox one s just to check the disc driver

Did you find a solution to this , I’m installing MW3 on a Xbox one s by disc it installs all packets but won’t update and I can’t open the game until it updates everytime it starts it says installation stopped

Ah so you're saying I have to sacrifice my save data? That really stinks. Yeah, no internet so I can't use cloud. I haven't had wifi since 2019, living in California is hard lol. I'll check out the link though and reply further if it doesn't work.

Your disc drive is likely on the verge of failure.

The system will have to be repaired or replaced.
