    Xbox one S digital won’t complete install update


    Help! I have tried for a few hours now to set up a new xbox one s digital.

    It has finally accepted the the 5 digit code. Tries to do the first update and failseveral times now. At the first part. Ive done a hard reset. Error code not giving me anything useful. 8007045d and 00000000 and 90100005. Any suggestions? Tia.

    Are you using a wired ethernet connection to your network hardware or WiFi?

    Try wired if using WiFi.

    Try this in order...

    Turn off console and remove power cable, and turn off TV.

    Power cycle your network hardware and wait until its back online (green lights) before restoring power to the console.

    Turn on TV.

    Turn on AVR (if using)

    Turn on console.

    Let us know the result.

    Hi have tried hard wirig to router. Reset it, and tried again. Same error.

    ANy other suggestions?

    - Try restarting your modem (really, try it)

    - Delete the system cache

    1. Press and hold the power button on your console to turn it off.
    2. Unplug the power cable from your console.
    3. While the power cable is plugged out, press the power button on the console few times. This process will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained thus clearing the cache.
    4. Connect the power cable to the console and wait until the light on power brick turns from white to orange.
    5. After that, press the power button on your console to turn it on.
