Xbox One S Detaching plastic cover

I wasn’t sure which category to post this in so apologies if it’s the wrong one.

I’m trying to remove the plastic cover of my Xbox One S as I need to get inside and clean off dust from the fan. Well, I can’t get the cover off; I’ve only gotten halfway there. I’ve never done this before and am not tech savvy.. at all. So this is probably a dumb question, but I’m kind of desperate. I took a picture of the part I’m struggling on:

The console is not meant to be opened unless you send it to Microsoft to be fixed. We cannot assist you with opening the console here.

But one thing I forgot:

One of my crazy friends cover Xbox with a plastic roll witch use for cover foods or ... And I pull I off.

Maybe this should be that?

Do you mean change the plastic covers from an Xbox and use it in another Xbox?

Yes, it's just plastic covers, so you'll be able to use this covers in another Xbox of the same model...

Yes, the same batteries and plastic cover work in all 3 controllers. I think the issue is the plastic cover of the battery pack on 2 of the controllers so I've bought a couple of new plastic covers from ebay to see if that makes a difference. Just find it really odd that 1 pack makes all 3 controllers work.

All Ones are in the same family of console so there isn't a specific Xbox One or One S controller. There was the original One controller that had shiny plastic around the Xbox button on the top that did not have bluetooth. Then they released one that had a matte finish instead of the shiny plastic that does have bluetooth. Both versions will work on all One consoles as well as a Series S/X.
