    So i got a brand new xbox one s for christmas this year, and it has been deleteing and re-installing games i already installed from the disc. This has happened with forza horizon 4, the long dark, and mudrunner american wilds. Its not updating, cuz it said
    it was re-installing from the disc not the network. And also if it WAS an update, it would have taken a MUCH LONGER time to finish. It seems to only happen when the console is online, and the game needs an update, which it might happen with a game that doesnt
    need an update, but it hasnt been that long since i finally updated a game (we have slow internet. It updates in kilobits). But it hasnt happend with a game that doesnt need an update yet. Do you think its a virus? Or malmare? Or maybe the OS is corrupted?
    I have been having error messages

    with error codes corrosponding to corrupted games (it happend more than once when i clicked on a game to play it). But that might or might not have nothing to do with the other problem.

    Please answer all you can.

    Xbox One - Memory Managment

    Games saves are now saved to the cloud. If you delete your game and then re install later you will automatically recover your saves.

    You can try a factory reset/system reset on the console without deleting the games and apps, it will basically put the console back to how it was before you purchased it, except with all games and apps still installed. Then see if the console connects.
