    There is one other thread about this but it was never resolved and locked.

    Standard xbox one s controller.

    My deadzone on both sticks takes up like 80% of the stick with only the last 20% to the edge actually registering. This is from viewing in the Xbox Accessories app on the testing buttons section.

    There appears to be no option anywhere to adjust the controllers sensitivity?

    Is there an option, or is this a faulty controller? It's happened over time, as going back to a 3rd person shooter I used to play a month or so ago has proven extremely hard to aim.

    I am using a Panasonic BQ-CC55 charger and 4 Eneloop batteries 1900 mAh for 3 years now, and still, they hold about 4 days of intensive use.

    Yea two months is way too short. I'm not sure what you can do as you only get 30 days I believe.

    The charger cost €13.00. I usually get a year out of the rechargeable before they stop holding a charge.

    Hi Vagrant.,

    Thanks for updating us with your replies. Regarding the warranty period for the standard Xbox One controller, if you've had it 90 days or less, then you'd still be within the warranty period if you'd like to set up a repair or replacement for the controller.
    Prior to doing this, I would recommend you attempt all troubleshooting possible for good measure. The sensitivity of the controller may be further customized in-game (if possible); however, the standard controller doesn't have as many of the customization
    features that an Elite controller would have, so there are limitations to what is possible in general.

    I would further recommend updating the controller as well, if you haven't done so already. Additionally, trying out a different standard controller (borrowing from friend or family member is a good idea) to narrow down the issue is also a great idea, as
    one of the Ambassadors has already suggested, as well as trying the controller on a different device just to be sure to cover all bases.

    In the end, if you've tried everything, but the controller is still having that same drift issue, then you'd want to set up a repair or replacement while still within warranty. You can

    Have you checked in the game options? Is it only in this game that you have this problem?

    Xbox gives you a lot of options, I know playing with the cable can be annoying these days, but there are rechargeable batteries and the battery, have you tried every mode on your controller?
