Xbox One S D/L speed is 16Mb

Not sure what's happening. My wife's regular One will pull 75Mb wireless but mine only hits 16mb

Has anyone else had these issues? Thanks in advance.

Very Slow Download Speeds

King John I noticed similar speed issues today when downloading some of the newier DLC for Borderlands 2 (Psycho Bandit, Compatibility Pack & Assault on Dragon Keep). I have a 50Mbp/s down & 5Mbp/s up connection & a TP-Link Gigabit router with LAN connections
to my PC as well as XBOX360. All ports are opened properly, I have my Xbox360 in the DMZ & no other downloads/uploads taking place. I did separate tests on my PC & XBOX360 from the site
SpeedOf.Me, Internet speed test for all your devices as that does speed test through HTML5 so you can use it on the XBOX360 IE verison. My PC speed results were 56.9Mb/s (d/l) & 5.38Mb/s (u/l) now my XBOX360 speed results were 1.45Mb/s (d/l) &
3.18Mb/s(u/l). I tested my XBOX360 results again & they were 1.51Mb/s (d/l) & 3.21Mb/s (u/l). THIS IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE as I know I was getting better speeds on LIVE when I had my 15Mbp/s (d/l) & 1.5Mbp/s (u/l) though I never knew about the SpeedOf.Me
site to do testing prior to upgrading. How I know though is my friend had a 50Mbp/s connection with Comcast & when we would d/l DLC I would always d/l faster than him. Hope this helps & MICROSOFT PLEASE FIX THIS AS ITS HORRIBLE PAYING FOR A GOLD MEMBERSHIP

Why does Xbox One not support my ISP speed?

Ok so I got my Internet upgraded today to a 150 Mb/s D/L, 25 Mb/s U/L package. When I signed into Xbox, I ran the 'Detailed Network Statistics' feature in Network settings and it actually gave me a result of a sexy 177 Mb/s D/L and can't remember the U/L
but it was higher than I've ever seen. The issue is, I'm downloading the NHL 17 Beta which is 17.93GB, yet it's only downloading at a speed that ranges between 55 Mb/s - 65 Mb/s. Why does this happen, and is there anything I can do to get the most out of the
speed it clearly shows it's capable of in the Detailed Network Statistics feature?

hard reboot so far has always fixed it (for a while)

Try performing a hard reset like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
While the console is down and you are waiting unplug your modem/router for a couple of minutes so they will also reset. Once everything is back up and operational test the results. Let us know. Good Luck!

 

Its a current bug with the Xbox One S - Do a restart of the console and you'll get the speed back. It's an issue with the Instant On setting
