Xbox one S controller with android phone

Hi

I recently purchased an Xbox one S bluetooth controller and i wanted to use it on my Sony Xperia Z5. It worked the first time i tried but then i updated the controller's firmware on my PC with the xbox accessories app and i can't connect with my phone anymore. Every
time i try to connect with bluetooth i get an error message about wrong PIN number. Does anyone have a solution ?

Have you checked this out yet? I personally can't try it as I'm between phones, but it might help! Xbox One S Controller won't connect to Android [FIX]

The Xbox One S controller is not designed nor supported to run on smartphones. Microsoft did not issue any bluetooth controller drivers outside of Windows 10.

Anything you may have got working (or have seen working) was just partially working, generic bluetooth input drivers preinstalled on the phone itself, or unofficial third-party drivers written for the controller.

There's no way to roll back a firmware update, unfortunately.

Hello viktorsigosins, for Android, you need to check your phone manufacturer and Android version to see if it is compatible with controllers or not. For your second question: yes, you can use Xbox One controller on S and X model as well.
