Xbox one s controller scroll issue

Ive noticed alot of issues with the unwanted scroll issue on the controller. I too have this issue on both my genuine controller. Am I right in thinking this is a wide issue? If so what are microsoft prepared to do about it.

Both my controllers are a year old now and O dont believe I should be purchasing new ones when its a wide issue on them...

Problems with dadhboard and controller, potential drift, triggers not working!

I'll start with a brief description of the issue.

i am using an Xbox one S with two wireless controllers and one wired. My Xbox constantly scrolls down and the left and right triggers alternating functionality is really something to behold. I decide to try a new aftermaket controller which yielded the same
results also it will not update. I have reset my Xbox erasing all content, erased my profile, cleared the cache. I thought the issue could be controller drift along side a non functional hall effect sensor?? However when I tried the aftermarket like I said
same results. Please help me!!!

Sorry to hear about the issue. Are you able to try your headset on a different Xbox One controller? Alternatively, are you able to try a different headset on your current controller? Also, if you haven't yet, I recommend updating your controller. To do this,
from your Xbox One console dashboard:

Open the Guide menu

Scroll down to 'Settings'

Select 'All Settings'

Scroll down to 'Kinect & Devices'

Select 'Devices & Accessories'

Select 'Xbox One Wireless Controller'

Check to see if an update is available

Give all that a try and let us know if it works!

please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again: http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console

If possible also try a different controller if available, to see if it's controller related or not.

Yep, had this same issue too. Except we ended up having to buy another one. Why is it that I still have NES (Nintendo Entertainment System for you juniors), controllers from the freakin' 80's that still work perfectly and yet we've lost a total of three

Same problem here.. Xb1 S controller randomly disconnects, original xbox one controller has no issues with xb1 S console...

I have the same issue with my xbox one controllers, however my xbox one s controller still works!

I have this issue on two totally different generation in controllers. The original and the Xbox one s white controller. It's not a hardware issue.
