Xbox one s controller right stick sound

My xbox one s controller right thumbstick does a ting ting sound when pressed or when i move it right direction is this normal?Also i accidentally dropped my controller but there is no damage first
time dropping it should i worry?

For hardware issues, it is recommended to
request a replacement as stated above. If you are out of warranty, then buying a new one is the next step.

if you dropped the controller and now it's making weird sounds then it's most likely damaged. Controllers come with a limited 90 day warranty so you can be able to exchange it or have it repaired. Anything past that date and you will have to buy a new
one.
