    Xbox One S controller/mic issues


    Can SOMEONE from Microsoft please confirm, whether or not the Xbox One S controllers are faulty? I've been into a fair share of forums looking for answers and I get the same 3 reasons. 1) The system/controller needs updating. 2) The connection inside the
    mic has come loose. Then theres the 3rd answer.....the controller is faulty ( this being the most popular). "Apparently" Microsoft are aware of this and it only seems to be the controller that comes with the console. Is this true?! And if so, why was there
    no recall or refund offered?

    People are sending the controllers back to microsoft for a replacement. However! I did not see a singular story where the controller was replaced and in working order. NOT ONE STORY!!! There are people still waiting ...and waiting.

    I have both PlayStation and Xbox. Aside from ONE charging point needing a replacement, the PlayStation has held up nicely for 7 years. We have had our Xbox for 3 years and its strggling to maintain its quality and favouritism, purely because customer care
    doesn't seem to be high on your list of priorities. Right beside ' Recalling faulty equipement when it's a known manufacturing fault '!

    Pick up your "game" Microsoft and recall these controllers. It's a necessity. An essential part of operating the system. It HAS to work. So....make it!

    Lastly, people like to post complaints not the resolution of them. I feel your frustration on this as I have had a issue with something (not Xbox related) and have yet to find a solution but I see 100's of open complaints.

    Sorry, I feel Harley's frustration, and will vent my own...

    I use my headphones so when I'm racing in Forza, or shooting bad guys at 3am in my living room, my neighbors don't hate me! The community is LOADED with 1000's complaints about all these controllers' mic not working after very little time. Mine stopped working
    after only 1 month of use. After browsing Reddit and Youtube, I found mulitple ways to actually fix this.... the only answer that matters here is...

    The microphone-headphone jack, isn't saudered on. Its loosely placed inside the controller, so that after a few insertions of the headphone jack, you have a dislodged headphone connection.

    This, in my opinion, is a massive flaw, and just un-acceptable from a massively successful global corporation.

    I'm sorry, but Sony is winning the console battle. I have also owned a PS4 for 4 years, and everything has worked flawlessly, as intended. $50-$80Controllers that stop functioning properly within a month is just un-acceptable...

    Okayyyy I'm done ranting...

    Default headset oddly not working

    There is a problem that is, if you switch your Xbox One on with the mic already plugged into your controller, then the mic will not work. But however your issue sounds different. It sounds to me like the auxiliary port on your Xbox One controller is broken
    (the place where you plug your mic into). Does it have dust or any visible problems, if not then you might have to look into getting a new controller.
