    Xbox One S Controller Issue


    Hi,

    my xbox one s controller has the Xbox button that while pressed not make the usual "clack" but if you press that button return in start position slowed down.

    It's a problem or it's a new feature insert in this controller?

    I have this issue on two totally different generation in controllers. The original and the Xbox one s white controller. It's not a hardware issue.

    Xbox One S Controller Issue

    Hey Devil Squall 89! Is the button working within the Xbox or does it not function either? If you believe the controller is defective, I would suggest you return it to the retailer for a replacement. Post back and let me know!

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.
