Xbox One S Controller: Games stutter on Win10

When I connect my Xbox One S Controller via Bluetooth, games start to stutter on my Win10 PC altough they run smoothley when the controller in connected via USB. I read that a similiar problem existed with a certain driver and the original XBox One Controller.

May it have something to do with using a 165hz Monitor?

Tool on PC to change layout of the XBOX One S Controller (bluetooth)?

Hello everyone,

My "xbox one s" controller works fine via bluetooth under win10 and it`s recognized by every game I own. So far so good.

I know, that you can customize only the XBOX "Elite" controller via Xbox Accessories app on Win10, to for excample change the button layout and so on.

Does anyone know of a possibility to customize the normal xbox one s controller under win10? I tried the program "MotionInJoy" but it doesnt work.

Xbox Wireless Adapter and Framerate drops in games

This also happens while using the controller wired pressing any button or moving any joystick makes the whole system stutter ingame and even on the desktop.

Doallyn try getting it to stutter exit the game and see if it also stutter in the desktop (ej. move your pointer to see the stutter)

Dude I have this SAME issue and the same setup. I recently upgraded to a 165hz 1440p Dell monitor and that's when this problem started happening (or at least became very noticeable). I start to get real bad input lag and frame drops in games like
Rocket League and A Hat In Time. I also have the bluetooth Xbox One S controllers but have not tried wired yet as i can never seem to get that to work surprisingly. I've tried completely uninstalling the device and associated drivers and reinstalling after
getting this new monitor; same results. This is driving me insane for what has been an otherwise an amazing new purchase.

I'm experiencing a similar problem (again). The App doesn't crash but the stream Win10 to Xbox still stutters / crashes, and increasingly since the last update (10.0.15063.1005 / rs2_release_xbox_1703.170323-1228).

I have the same problem. I think it was caused by a controller update (version from 17.11.2021). I enjoyed the new fast switching feature between Xbox and Bluetooth devices (double click pairing button).

Switching controller between Xbox/Bluetooth devices - OK

Xbox connection - OK

Android mobile connection (bluetooth) - OK

PC Win10 USB connection - OK

PC Win10 Bluetooth connection - does not work. the pairing will be fine but controller does not work.

Xbox One S, 2pcs XboxOne controller, Windows 10 completely updated.

resolved issue - update Windows 10 21H2.
