Xbox One S Controller Broke. Is it under warranty?

So my friend picked up my new Xbox One S Controller today and the left joystick somehow became broken. I purchased my Xbox through Amazon and was wondering if there is any way that this is covered under a warranty.

I already tried entering it into support.xbox.com and it said "No Records Found" and "There are no service offers associated with selected problem/accessory type. "

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Replacing Xbox One Controller under warranty

My Xbox one controllers headphone jack is broken. I've tested it multiple times with multiple headsets, conclusively broken. I read the support article on how to replace it because it is under the 90 day warranty and it is way too vague and some of the steps
don't work on the website. Does anyone know how i can get another controller since mine broke under warranty.

Xbox One Controller Issue

My xbox controller just won't work. I have tried syncing it, nothing happens. I have tried connecting it with a cable, works for a few seconds then decides to stop working. Is it my xbox controller that is broken? The xbox i have is the original and so is
the controller. (aka, not xbox one S or X, the first one)

If you purchased the Microsoft Xbox accessory within the last 30 days, you can return it to the retailer with your original proof of purchase. If you purchased the accessory more than 30 days ago but within the accessory warranty period, you can order a
replacement accessory from Device Support (console registration is required). Make sure you select Replace an accessory:
https://devicesupport.microsoft.com/ instead of “Repair my device.” Follow the onscreen prompts to place an order.

Might have got a solution, the website is still broken, but use the virtual agent and select the options on there and you'll get an automated response about a replacement which then registers a request and let's you add the serial number etc.

I've got the exact same problem, I've got an Xbox elite controller 2 with an unresponsive A button that I'm trying to get replaced and following the return store I get the same issues in the address section.

Any help during this would be much appreciated.

Any luck with this? My right bumper broke and the controller is basically unusable now (this had happened to me previously with a standard xbox one controller). The last time I tried to replace/repair a controller, they told me I the warranty did not apply
because I don't have an xbox one console to register the controller to. This is such ***...

I spent $160 on a controller that broke after 3 months of use and there's zero warranty.
