    Xbox One S controller A button sticks right out of the box.


    Has any one else had an issue with the controller that came with the Xbox one s? I unboxed the Xbox and hooked up everything and started using the controlller and I noiticed that while pressing the A button it has a little bit of a stick/ delay to it after
    you push it. Its noticeable in game cause of the delay it affects timely button pushes. Just curious if anyone else had this issue and if this is a replaceable thing. Other wise the new controller is a great upgrade to the base controller.

    Right analog stick

    my right analog stick on my Xbox one controller drifts up almost all of the time I haven't even had it for a year yet it came with my Xbox one s

    I Have A Xbox one s controller and when i turn on my console and my controller when i push the stick to the left or right it goes 2 times and skips a option and the a button is unresponsive it shows i click it but does not launch the app. any fix?

    Hmm... the buttons on my Xbox One S controller seem to be fine since I got it the other day.

    Maybe you got a dud? You can likely send it in to Microsoft for a repair/replacement, since it still has to be under standard warranty (1 year for console repairs, 90 days for input devices).

    Start right here:
    account.microsoft.com/devices

    Make sure you have your Xbox One S serial number registered, and then go to "Schedule a repair" on the right. After that, just follow the repair process instructions.

    Since this an extremely new purchase if possible take it back and exchange it and avoid the warranty process.

    Mine sticks... after 3 consecutive presses... it stays down... then pops up... it's an issue... but if yours isn't registering, that's a whole other issue of un-playability... Call Microsoft Support and issue a return and replace...

    I want to warn everyone. This is getting pretty crazy. I will tell you my story.

    I've bought 2 Xbox One controllers in the last 3 months.

    When I received the first one I started noticing something strange with the A button. Sometimes it will fail to register at some angle. I'm getting pretty good at reproducing it it's not quite hard. It's REALLY hard to play competitive Rocket League when
    you know that A is your jump button. It's failing to register multiple times a day.

    So I'm doing the sensible thing and ask for an exchange. (Controller bought from a retailer).

    I receive the new one, 1 week later. SAME EXACT PROBLEM. You gotta to be kidding me! I'm so mad, I've just accepted the fact that the new Xbox controllers are quite cheap and I don't ask for a third exchange because this is so stupid. Also I was awaiting
    the Elite Series 2 (preorder when announced at E3).

    I've received it today. You guess what. EXACT SAME PROBLEM AGAIN. On a 180€ controller bought from the Microsoft Store. This is ridiculous. I've no words for this. I did a clean install of Windows10. It did nothing. I JUST WANT A WORKING CONTROLLER IS IT
    TOO HARD [Mod Removed - Inappropriate].

    I really don't know what to do. I'm desperate. Xbox controllers are the best for me but the whole situation is ridiculous.
