Xbox one s console

Hi just wondering how many people are buying the slim version in august I noticed it's the top preordered item on amazon under the video games I only bought a new white Xbox when q break came out a few months ago but decide I will be getting the slim as
well just cause it looks fantastic just wondering everybody's else's thoughts on it do you reckon it will give Xbox a huge sales boost

Not for me.Don't like the colour & the fact it has an internal power source.

I want a new xbox one but think i'll just go for a standard 1tb one

 

Nice looking console, i am sure it will do well, but for me my present XB1 will do until Scorpio comes out, then i will move to that.

I want to buy the console but want the 500GB. I can't find anywhere to buy it. It's all the 2TB.

 

Apex the 500gb version isn't launching at the same time so that's why you won't be able to find it but you will need the extra storage as 500gb fills up real quick !!

 

Yeah you should really consider at least a 1 TB as the starter, remember the Scorpio will also be bc with your XB1 games and all the BC 360 games, even 2TB will seem small once you have these all installed.

 

I'm holding out for the 500GB version, as I don't need the 2TB due to already having a 2TB external HDD. I'll get Scorpio when it comes out, and give my son the Slim and use his 1TB One as a trade in.

 

I already have a 5TB external hard drive. That's why I wanted to go for the 500GB

 

Nope, the original model I have right now will do. When the Scorpio comes out I'll be upgrading my PC and playing people through that instead of console.

I do like the look of the xbox one S though, I just can't justify buying one.

 

At present I'm happy with my original X1 console, as it provides me with everything I need, namely playing my games. However I might be tempted at a later date to buy the new console, if Microsoft brings it out in a colour other than white.

 

Sticking the the original for now, was great to pick one up so cheap after e3. I won;t have a 4k screen until this years BF sales or maybe next year since I play on monitors my choice is more limited so there is no benefit to dropping another 350£ on hardware
for me.

The scorpio however will be day one

 

Not much point in buying a new 1/trading in current 1 plus I don't have a 4k TV to get the most out of it so will be staying for a couple of years yet then decide if to upgrade.
