Xbox One S Console having issues

I'm having trouble with my Xbox One S console itself. I turned it on earlier and all seem to be working fine except for a game I was trying to play, my internet was on and it had said that the game needed an update but also said it wasn't able to receive
it at the moment. So I restarted a few times and was also having issues signing in and accessing my settings, as well as the Xbox not showing up on the TV although everything is connected properly and when I go to where it gives me the option to power off
it shows up otherwise nothing

Getting the same issues with my 2 xboxs. Sometimes won't load properly and when it does I can't open any settings or anything. Xbox support aren't much help. Soft reset. Can't do a complete reset as can't access settings menu

console ventilation support article if you haven't already. As it says in the article, if you are placing the Xbox One S console in a vertical orientation, using the console stand is required to ensure the bottom vent is not blocked. For more information,
go to Using the vertical stand for the Xbox One S console.

Sorry to hear you have been having these issues with the Xbox One S turning off suddenly after turning it on.

I would advise going through the troubleshooting provided in the support article that follows to try and get this issue resolved.

Your Xbox One X, Xbox One S, or original Xbox One console won't turn on

If the issue persists after all troubleshooting has been attempted, then unfortunately you will need to have the console serviced.

I have both consoles and the issue is the same regardless of Xbox One S or the original Xbox One.
