Xbox One S Console Causes All Controllers To Not Work Properly

When you press the analogue sticks or Dpad on any controller it does the correct movement however it is then repeated in the opposite direction immediately after. I have tested multiple controllers and they all do the same thing. I have even tried the controllers on another console and they work completely fine. Leading me to believe that the issue is to do with the console itself. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix it. I have tried hard restarting the Xbox and it doesn’t seem to fix the issue. I just thought I would add in media apps such as Netflix the issue persists., however I launched a game of Skyrim and it worked fine other than LT was unresponsive. This is

If you don't mind, I'd appreciate it if you could answer the following questions:

• Have you verified if the same happens when a controller is connected via a USB cable?
• Are there any external devices plugged into this console's USB ports?

Additionally, could you try power cycling your console? like this:

- Press and hold your console's power button until it shuts down.
- Unplug your console's power cord for 5 minutes.
- Plug your console's power cord directly into one of the wall's outlets.
- Turn your console on and check if the issues persist.

standard xbox one controllers have been replaced with the series s/x controllers that work with all xbox one consoles and the new series s and x and even pc. they are readily in stock all over the uk, try argos.

I tried everything already in that guide.

My Xbox One S controller is running firmware 3.1.1215.0.

I can't tell if is it the controller or is it the Xbox One S.

My feeling says it is cause by the Xbox One S update of last weekend, cause it was working before.

And also, i did a hard reset and like i wrote before the controller was working wireless, till during the setup it did an update and a restart. After this i could not connect the controller wirelles anymore.

Since you said you’ve had the Xbox for several years, is this an original Xbox one or an Xbox one S? And I’m just making sure I got this clearly down, your controller or any other controller and it does the same thing on your console, correct? Have you tried
your controller on another system to see if it works properly
