    Xbox one s connection problems


    Until recently (last friday to today as far as i know) I've started having strange connection/internet issues, before the issues I'd have around 100+mbps download speed and a decent upload speed, now when i check again they're in the single digits and my latency currently is 247 ms which varies everytime i test it along with packet loss. (Just to add on, when i play online I usually didn't go over 20 ping) I am on wifi, no wires and it hasn't been this big of a problem till now, I cannot connect to my 5G version as well all of a sudden. Also, my nat type is on moderate. (when it should be open) Lastly it also says "UPnP" not successful, I've tried power cycling my xbox/restarting it, restarting my router and I have no luck, can anyone help?

    My brand new Xbox can't connect to the internet

    Just an S a couple days after christmas. Wire connection and it will not recognize wired connection after initial setup update. Switched back in the old xbox one and it works fine. old xbox even connects wirelessly with no problems. took my S over a family
    members house and it connected no problem. I don't get it either.

    Just want to give a update on my situation: I activated ipv6 on my router and my xbox one s was able to connect to my wifi. After a day or two I received the same problem again and got disconnected and signed out from xbox live randomly.

    I decided to try a wired connection to my xbox one s and so far I'm having no problems connecting and I have both consoles on at the same time with open nats. My original xbox is on a wireless connection. I will continue to stay on a wired connection so
    I can confirm it must be a wireless issue affecting only my new xbox one s.

    having same problems here just purchased an xbox one s and it looses connection after about 30 minutes of gaming i tried my older xbox one and thats fine not a problem :/

    There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

    The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

    The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.
