Xbox one s channel input

Hey, King! Sorry to see the double input issues! We had seen this issue late last year, but it was resolved. Since this is on the new console, we definitely want to make sure it's working appropriately.

Are you able to take your Xbox One S to a friend's house that has cable that you can use to see if the input is duplicated there, as well? That will help us nail down if it's the TV Tuner or not. Thanks!

Try different inputs for the HDMI. The HDMI cable is a different input channel (eg. input channel 1-6 - my input for HDMI (and I have 7 of them) is input 6 whereas the input for the regular cable is input 2).

Also, with HDMI the xbox will not start up until it is on the proper channel.

Since the Xbox One only outputs 5.1/7.1 in PCM your TV will not pass it through to the receiver as I am not aware of any TVs that support PCM input with more than 2 channels. Unless they enable Dolby Digital you will need to run the Xbox One through a receiver
that supports HDMI input and 5.1 PCM input.

Are you certain it's on the correct input channel? Some tv's will show an input even if it's not on the right channel. That could be why it's showing up black and white.
