Xbox One S can’t add account or sign in.

Just boughf a Xbox One S All Digital and can’t use. In my first time using it, when I try to “Add New” for my profile, get a green circle, then just takes me back to the “Add New” prompt.

There is no error code to reference and can’t sign-in to my profile because when I go to “Add New” it doesn’t even prompt me for a username.

I already tried to hard reset the console and restored it to fabric settings. But nothing solved it.

If you have followed all the troubleshooting steps the only thing to do is to contact your retailer for a replacement or a refund.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this issue. I can totally understand how this could be pretty distressing and discouraging, however it is against the

Xbox Forums Guidelines to make multiple threads about the same issue in hopes to get more attention. That being said I will be locking this thread now.

thanks for coming to the forums. First we recommend to make sure the console is plugged directly into a wall outlet. Then you can try an

offline update. If the offline update doesn't work you may want to think of a repair.
