    Xbox One S cannot take any disks into the drive


    I have had this Xbox One S for about 2 months and everything worked fine until yesterday when I tried to insert a disk, and it only went in about half way and felt as if something was blocking it. I made sure there was no disc inside with the eject button
    and went to Blu-ray player - it said NO DISK IN THE DRIVE. I even stuck a paper clip in the manual eject, just to get rid of anything that might be in there, but nothing came out. I changed power mode to energy saver. Did a reset (hold power button down 10
    sec)... Still same problem.. Tried unplugging it, and starting it again, numerous times. Same problem.

    It really seems like there is something blocking the disc on entry. It grabs the disk, brings it in about half way, and then the disk rotates a bit with a bit of a motorized sound.

    Yes there is a way. and its not an adapter.

    the xbox 360 uses a standard S-Ata Hard disk, 2.5 inch. same as many laptops in production.(you cannot use any hard drive though. needs to be a MS HDD.)

    If your Technically Savvy, you can take out the hard drive from the casing. 9-10 screws i believe.

    But it is frowned upon, and voids your warranty, if you use an aftermarket S Series Hard disk case.

    Eachgame.hk sells such a part.

    But i will not be liable for your action.

    Take it into your own hands. and see if you can find a cheap 250. they go on ebay for 40.00 or so.

    Fifa 13 disc now wont play

    depends if it has happened to any other disk. There are several ways to allow him to play his disk again simply by borrowing a good copy and installing into his hard drive also im not sure if it works you can take out the hard drive and put it into another
    xbox and install into that if the xbox you have just breaks all the disks.

    If it's an xbox one s thats not a series s nor do they have a disk drive

    Ya what you did was skip the instructions

    First and foremost disk copies cannot be installed on a xbox series s

    Second you have to uninstall your install from the disk from the external drive first then buy the digital copy

    Digital copies are completely different from disk copies

    Installing it on a external.drive will show as owned but not the digital copy since you installed using the disk however your serirs s cannot validate without q drive

    are you sure you don't have an Xbox one S and not an Xbox series S?

    If it has a disk Drive, it's a one S and it will not work

    I was under the impression that Forza 3 disk 1 cannot be installed to the hard drive. It sounds like the DVD reader is trying to read the disk but it doesn't seem like it has to be like that. Does anybody else have this problem with the Xbox 360 S? Try
