    Xbox One S Bundle Game Glitch on the Xbox Series X.


    Hello all, I've recently had a problem with the Xbox Series X system - it seems that the two bundle games (Assassin's Creed Origins and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege) are having trouble to work. For AC:Origins, it claims I do not own the game despite receiving it via code with the Xbox One S back in 2017. For Tom Clancy's, it claims I need to renew an Xbox Game Pass subscription I never owned, thus locking me out of the game permanently despite owning it through the code given via Xbox One S bundle.

    Any help or exceptional advice would be greatly valued, I just want to play the games I have thoroughly enjoyed in the past couple of years.

    Fifa 22 Xbox Series X

    Are you seeing "FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S"?

    It's the edition or bundle that includes both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

    If this is the standard edition it will say if it's Xbox One or Xbox Series X game. The Xbox One version though is playable on Xbox Series X as well.

    That must be the reason why you're having that issue because you're using the Xbox One version which runs via backwards compatibility on Series X/S console. The Xbox Series X/S version of the game is only included on the cross-gen bundle.

    That shouldn't be a problem with your console if your other Xbox One games work fine.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    You should but the FIFA 23 Xbox One since Xbox Series X|S versions of the games are not compatible with Xbox One consoles.

    There are game bundles that include both Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.

    According to the website, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is only playable on the Xbox Series X|S consoles. You were looking at the bundle which gives you all the games for one price, so it shows that they will play on the Xbox One & the Series X|S because the older games do work on the Xbox One.

    Owning a cross-generation bundle gives you access to both versions of the game. By default, most titles install the Xbox Series X|S version on your Xbox Series X|S console, but a few titles may install the Xbox One version by default.
