Xbox one s broken after update

Xbox crashed a couple of times playing CoD Warzone, I checked and updated the console software but once installed it would start but not run and shoes a e 102 message.

I’ve tried both reset options but neither run. I’ve downloaded the offline system update (following each step) but when I press the offline system it beeps and returns to the somethings wrong page and shows an e101 error.

With the system down for a few days and moaning kids I’ve just gone out to buy a series s but now find I can’t download copies of the physical games without buying them again.

The options I have are:

Send the old Xbox one s in for repair ( it’s two months out of warranty) at a cost of £175.

Continue with series s (£249) and re purchase various games we have on disk at a cost of say £150.

Take the series s back as being unfit for required purpose and wait until I can source an Xbox series x at c £450.

Find a way of being able to download the games I’ve previously bought at no cost.....Microsoft support team can you help?

The kids ( and me) are getting frustrated and are asking my why I updated the Xbox software in the first place

The latest patch for COD Ghosts seems to have broken the NAT somehow.

Before the update you could get an open NAT by forwarding port 3075.

But now it's impossible.

I'm seriously fed up with the xbox ones network issues.

First of all there is the fact that the xbox ones UPnP support is broken. It's not fully compatible with most brands of router.

And it also alienates a large portion of the UK population by not being compatible with the BT Homehubs 4's and 5's

And to make matter worse the last update for GHosts has made it impossible to get an open NAT in that game.

Either the patch changed what port is required for the game or the game is just broken.

How would using Amazons DNS servers help? This never happened on the One S or X nor PS5... It has to be one of their updates has broken something.
