Xbox One S Bluetooth Controller For PC

The new xbox one controller arrived and when i pair it to my pc it asks for a passcode and thre is no passcode anywhere it the packaging

Does the Xbox One S console have Bluetooth Capability? I.E Bluetooth Headsets

There is no Bluetooth radio component in the Xbox One S console itself.

The controllers connect to the Xbox One S the same way the controllers connect to the original Xbox One: proprietary RF. You could technically connect an Xbox One S controller to an original Xbox One, and an original Xbox controller to the Xbox One S.

The Bluetooth functionality in the new Xbox One S controller is specifically made for connecting the controller to a Windows 10 PC with the "Anniversary" update, which has the drivers needed for the controller when connected via Bluetooth.

Can you try just pressing enter when it asks for a pass code?

 

Power on your Xbox Wireless Controller by pressing the Xbox button .

Press the controller bind button for three seconds and release.

On your PC, select the Start button, and then select Settings > Devices > Bluetooth.

Turn on Bluetooth so it can discover Bluetooth devices.

Select Xbox Wireless Controller > Pair.

After completing all of those steps, it still asks you for a passcode after clicking Pair?

Ok hopefully after today's Win10 update it will work for you then. If not post back here and we can continue to troubleshoot.

 

Hello there, i have also problem, i have newest update builde Winodws 10 Professional 14393.10, and also bought today new cotroller with Bluetooth, when im trying to connect controller via BT its just asking passcode, i enter nothing and click connect, then
its says paired but led on controller is still flashing in pairng mode and controller doesnt work in any game or in xbox app, when i connect controller via cable its running fine

 

you should have a large update version 1607 if not then a few days at most it will take then the bluetooth controller will work according to

i got the new update and it still asks for a passcode, i don't know why it won't work

 

yeah man but i have this anniversarzý update installed, its build 14393.10

 

same but its not working for me too microsoft support is *** dumb i was on a chat with them and they don't know *** and i can't even contact xbox support as it wont let me fill out my name to request a chat and even the microsoft dude couldn't even help
me to get a chat with them.
