XBOX ONE S Black Screen all the time

I have na XBOX One S. Two days ago, when I went to play I had a black screen. When I restart it, after a complete shut down / remove power cables, the console light comes on and it sounds like it is starting an then goes to sleep after 15 to 20 seconds.
Screen stays black whole time. Can’t access the Recovery Menu either (EJECT & BIND & POWER). When I try to get to recovery menu I get the first startup sound, but never a second. When I finally let go the buttons it goes back to sleep. I know its not
entirely off, because the light will pop on when I hit the eject button. I can also start it with a controller, but the controller never actually connects, stays flashing. Tried different cables, etc.

1. Please go to this page https://support.xbox.com/xbox-one/console/system-updates-solution

2. Select the option "I Need to Troubleshoot A System Update Error"

3. Then your console version, then "I Am Experiencing A Startup Issue".

4. Then "Black Screen". Follow the instructions.

hmm, shy are tehre so many reports of black screen in the last time?

i would tell you to use the recovery media but i think its really defect..

so it may be the beast you give it to trepair.

If the solution that NeoDan123 does not work for you, it is possible that you may be dealing with a hardware issue. I would think the graphics processor, however with the additional issues included, it could very well be something completely different.

Yes an odd one, even though I cannot get to the Startup Troubleshooter, I’m going to see if i sees the USB for an offline update. If that fails, then to repair, unless someone as another idea. It acts half alive, half asleep.
