    Xbox one s being really slow


    my xbox one s has been crashing for the past week or so, noticed it needed updating after a couple days of trying managed to get it updated but hasn't fixed anything the console now just takes 15mins+ to do anything like start up or even load a game, i have
    since hard reset the console and still nothing, I was advised to get it cleaned out so I did as we had no warranty from when purchased but xbox shows I have a warranty available still. I would guess I have made that warranty void now and sending it off to
    get looked at would be wasting time? If anyone has a fix for my issue would be great or just info on the warranty/possible repair cost.

    You're not the first, though the dashboard being slow is new. As to getting it fixed. Nothing I think it's a problem on xbox side, you could try to forward your ports

    Also make sure the firmware is up to date, I remember reading someplace that Asus had bad performance for a while till a firmware update fixed it. Also if you can enable any sort of gaming features on the router

    Portforward.com will be able to help you with the forwarding. To portforward you put the xbox ip address. I'm not much of a computer tech person so I have no idea but from what I have read distances, play a part in it
