Xbox one S beeps when power button is pressed but the light does not come on.

You can try unplugging the console from power for a few minutes, then plug it back in and see how it works.

If it's still acting the same, the power surge may have damaged the console or blown an internal fuse. In this case, you'll have to
schedule a repair and send it in to Microsoft.

Do not release until you hear the second beep or see the console boot into low resolution mode (the Xbox startup screen will appear slightly pixelated).

Note If you have an Xbox Series S or Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, you will need to press and hold the Xbox  button and the Pair button, as your console does not have an Eject button.

In either case, this will start up your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480).
