    Xbox One S basic questions


    Hey so my original Xbox One is kind of falling apart. Power button broke, hdmi port is really loose, disc drive is broken. It still works but I'm looking to upgrade. Obviously if I'm gonna upgrade I might as well get the One S, there is no real downside.

    My only question is do the Xbox one games work with Xbox one S? That's a huge consideration for me cause I have a pretty big collection that I don't want to throw away. I'm. It saying the discs, I'm saying the digital copies. I don't use discs I download
    all my games, so is it possible to redownload them? Or even better, can I plug the hard drive I currently use for my One right into the s and skip the downloading?

    Secondly, can I use my original Xbox one controllers for the S? I have 2 or 3 controllers of which it would be nice to be able to still use.

    I know as a consumer I should wait till the Scorpio but that's a long time to wait and my Xbox is on it's last leg.

    Do you need a 4K TV to use the Xbox One S? I only have HDMI (basic hd) and might want to get one in a few months.

    "Props" are only visible when you look at the avatar profile. When your friends select you to look closer, they can see it too.

    Things have been this way for a couple years now.

    Yes. Everything you have for the One will work with the One S. It's pretty much the same console just a little smaller and it supports 4K.

    Xbox have basically stopped using email for Support for quite a while.

    My Xbox One S controller is a Micro USB and would presume the original Xbox One controller would be the same.
