Xbox One S barely starts/takes forever to load

We have been having the same issue since December. The factory reset will work for a short time and then nothing. Sitting here in front of it now while we have tried yet again and it won't come back. It seems that this is a place to complain but with
no response from microsoft?

Thanks for reaching out to us, I can provide you some details to your issue. When your console is set to energy-saving power mode, it will take quite a bit longer to load to the Dashboard then when your console is set to Instant-on mode. When your
console is set to instant-on mode, your console will automatically download updates. When your console is set to energy-saving mode, your console will not download and install updates until your console is powered on, meaning that you console will take time
loading initially to check for updates.

instant-on power modes page. If you feel that your console is taking longer to load then normal, I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps:

• Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
• Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
• Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
• Power on your console and check to see how long it takes for your console to start up.

Hello Duane, I don't know how long your Xbox One S has been in its way, but depending on how long it may be slow cause of dirt inside it (dust), this consequently compromises the cooling of the console.

If you've tried both types of factory reset, keeping games and Apps and erasing everything, and it's still slow and slow to start and slow to navigate menus, it may need an internal cleanup.

Maybe try completely powering down the system by holding the front power button for at least 10 seconds, and once the system is off unplug it and leave it unplugged for 10 minutes. Then reconnect it and turn it back on. If that doesn't help my only other
suggestion is doing a factory reset on the system and if that doesn't even help things it may be a hardware issue that needs to be repaired.

I also suddenly have this problem. Really stopped using netlifx because it takes forever to load. On the 360 it worked fine. Now it barely connects and I can't game!! Definitely frustrating, hope there is a live patch to fix this.
