    Xbox One S Audio Lag


    I’ve had my XB1S for about 2-3 years now and just recently I’ve been having an audio lag on all apps, games, everything. I tried unplugging my xbox for an hour which didn’t work. Can anyone please help me fix this? Really don’t have the money for a new one or the series X

    Xbox one S blu-ray audio/video Sync problem

    I contacted support & tried all their suggestions including a full system reset. The audio lag is slightly reduced for Blu-ray disc playback, but a small lag still exists on blu-ray.

    However the audio lag on DVD discs is much worse. I bought my Xbox One S 3 days ago & support told me to return it for a new one.

    I have the Xbox One S Battlefield edition (military green Xbox). I'm curious if you have the same version.

    Sorry to hear about the issue. Do note that the
    home theater setup guide     does mention that this kind of basic setup with an A/V receiver, you're passing both audio and video through another device. Depending on your equipment, there's a small risk of audio or video lag. With that in mind, what is the
    make and model of both your soundbar and TV? It's possible that one (or both) of those isn't able to handle what the Xbox One S is outputting and is trying to compensate which is causing the audio lag.

    Rocksmith is a worthy investment if you need some help learning to play guitar.

    I honestly don't find the lag to be so bad, it depends on your audio setup to some extent although both the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game do tend to suffer lag more so then their older gen version.. I find the official Rocksmith forums to be a good
    source of information.

    What AV-Receiver do you use?

    Also make sure that it your TV settings the hdmi port is set to "enhanced" , most are not set from the factory . My Xbox One S wouldn't recognize my TV until I did that , then it shook hands . Now if I could get rid of the audio lag when using ARC...
