    I have a xbox one x and a one s. My question is I have a new game on disc which I can play in one x, but my one s doesnt have a disc drive. Do I have to rebuy a downloadable version of the game or will it know I already own game and let me download a
    copy to play in one s.

    Xbox one isn't xbox one s or x compatible they are all compatible it's only the x that has some enhancements but generally the game will download on any xbox one

    Series x is just xbox series s or x

    No such thing as an Xbox One Series X. The Xbox One family of consoles has an S and an X but are still just Xbox Ones. You need the Series family of consoles. The Xbox Series S or Xbox Series X. These are different from Xbox One S or Xbox One X.

    The "One" and "Series" are the console types.

    The Xbox One S is a variant of the Xbox One console. Xbox Series X/S is the newer generation of consoles. Xbox Series X/S enhanced games are only for the newest consoles not the Xbox One S. You would need to purchase the Xbox One version of the games not the X/S version of them.

    As it clearly states in the store "Xbox One X Enhanced", not Xbox One S.
