Xbox One S and x shuts off during gameplay

This is a different issue, that does not involve any of those solutions you mentioned, this is not the only game that is causing this to happen. I'm having the same problem with RDR2, a lot of players are facing the same issue in Fallout 76, PUBG, etc, it
happens in specific moments of the game, It only happens with the consoles Xbox S and Xbox X. I just don't understand why is tanking so long to solve this problem.

We understand it is frustrating since the console shuts off when attempting to play Red Dead Redemption 2. I would
recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Then try to start it up and see if the console shuts off again.

Xbox shuts off during gameplay

Hello there, I have an original gen Xbox 360 and when I play games like sitting or call of duty: black ops 2, I get maybe 5 minutes into the game and the entire system just shuts off. I checked the power bricks to make sure this were not the issues, I
check the hard drive and the Xbox still shuts off without that in it. Are there any other troubleshooting suggestions? I do not want to have to send my Xbox in when the new one is within the next year. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I already did the factory reset and downloaded the game 3x and the same always turns off in the CG part on top of the train, with other games I do not have problems like read dead 2 game per hour and xbox s works normally, more in resident evil 0 it gives
this problem to hang on cg and hang up alone

No, it do not occur in cut scenes, in RDR2 at first, started happening near campfires (avoiding campfires, I was able to play up to 7h), and after the 11/14 Operating System Update, it started to shutt it off opening the Side Quest Log, now there is no way
to play more than 15seg. It only happens with RDR2.

you performed a soft and/or full factory reset?

I performed everything humanly possible, soft, hard, full, bind/eject factory reset. I uninstalled the game, installed again five times, instaled in differet parts of the HD, deleted my account, disconected the power cord for 30sec, every step that you
may think of, I did. The only thing I didn't was downgrade the Operating System, because there is no how.

started when I started playing this game 10/26.

Yes, I did, in fact I bought 3 diferent power cords, tried in every room in my house, and then tried in my friends house.

My considerations are, this is not a physical problem, it is a software bug, something, some script misleading Xbox One X to shutt itself off, the console is new, only 4 months of use, never had any glimpse of any kind of problem or bug, it only happens with
this game, and it got worst after the last Operating
System Update.

 

The console overheats, so it turns off. Let the console clean up.

 

I'm having the exact same problem xSuddenDeath. How would I know if it's over heating? There are no error messages. This never happens with any other game or app. Seems like it's all good as long as I don't play RDR2, and that's unacceptable

It's not overheating, you can feel when you touch your console, in 15 seconds of game there is no time to even warm it. Unfortunately Tarhee, there is nothing we can do, I contacted Microsoft support 7 times, talked with every department, I also talked with
Rockstargame support several times, it is a known issue by them, all we can do is wait for them to release a game and operating system update to solve this problem. If we could downgrade the Xbox Operating System, we could have a temporary fix to the problem,
but there is no way to do it, unfortunately.
