    Xbox One Monitor ?

    Ok guys, my Xbox One will be here by the end of the week. I'm running the 360 on a Viewsonic 24'' VGA monitor. Microsoft released an official power adaptor with the VGA input that was 60 bucks. Xbox One has not yet. I run my audio through Astro A40's (optical).
    Should I buy a HDMI to VGA cable for the Xbox One? Or should I just buy a new HDMI monitor ? Please, lemme get opinions ASAP! Thanks !

    Question about Outputs...

    Ok, I'm currently using a Viewsonic monitor that only runs on VGA or DVI. I have a VGA power cord from Microsoft that I use for Xbox 360. Should I just go buy an HDMI monitor for Xbox One? Or should I stick with this one and buy a HDMI to VGA converter?
    Lemme know.

    As long as the monitor you are connecting to has a HDMI port then you should be able connect an Xbox One S to it.

    Will The Xbox series X work on a 1080p monitor?

    You can still use the 1080p monitor but it will only run at 60hz, Xbox doesn't support 75hz, its either 60hz or 120hz that supported,

    Games will look so much better on a 4K monitor, if you choose to get one, but bare in mind if want to get the full potential out of a 4K monitor and Series X, best to get one with HDMI 2.1,

    Though 4K HDMI 2.1 monitor's are not available as of yet, end of April is when they'll start to release if not more delays,

    I'm waiting for the release of these new 4K monitor's, as i'll be getting one of these...

    Hi, as I understand you can only control your volume through controls on your TV or monitor (I use a ViewSonic monitor, so I press the buttons on monitor itself to get to menu and adjust volume), but if you are using TV, you should connect TV with your Xbox,

    Also, if you are using headphones, there's totally different and way easier situation with that (controling sound or microphone through special adapter or menu in OneGuide).

    It depends what you mean by "full potential".

    Do you only consider 4K and HDR as "full potential", or do you also desire a "tearing free" gaming experience thanks to the Xbox One X's FreeSync capability, where the monitor dynamically adapts to the framerate the Xbox puts out?

    For example the Viewsonic XG3220 provides a 4K resolution HDR panel and AMD's FreeSync technology.
