    I've bought a Xbox One S 1TB: out of the box, connected and ON. Wonderfull, but in the first update, he give me an error.

    I've try to do a recover/restart... Nothing. Error again.

    So I will try to do an offline update, but she doesn't see my USB 16GB pen, well formatted in NTFS on W10 with

    What I can do??

    If this was only possible without USB or external drive , but they should already have put this inside a update for the one X but no they only put this in the ONE S update

    One S will not stay in Instant On power mode

    OK Factory reset (keep games and apps), and a manual update via USB solved the issue. Think the migration from XBOX ONE to ONE S was the issue. So far so good.

    Well if you don't wish to use the app you can also use your xbox one s to update the firmware of the controller. Plug it up to the xbox with a USB cable, go to setting and devices and accessories, select the controller and then select update.

    Both Series X/S games and Xbox One games that been optimised (I'm British) for Series X/S must be installed on either the internal storage or the expansion card. They can not be run from a USB connected storage device. My optimised Series X/S Xbox One games
    were moved to my Expansion card during their update.
