    Hi, I’ve been having power issues lately and was wondering if it is safe to play on my Xbox One S, and if the power goes out, how will this affect it?

    EDIT: I have a power surge protector connected to it, the power gets turned off for 5 hours then turns on for about 2 hours

    Also will the power outage damage the disk?

    Which Xbox do you have, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X or Xbox Series X or S? Not all of them are multi-voltage. The Xbox 360 and Xbox One will need either a power converter or a power supply for your region. As for the Xbox One S, Xbox One X and Series X or S, they are multi-voltage, and should work fine with the correct power cable.

    Is your Xbox an Xbox One or One S? The reason I ask is because the power button on the One is capacitive, whereas the power button on the One S is mechanical.

    Is it a 360 or an Xbox One S? If it is an Xbox One S, then you should be fine withe a power plug adapter.

    The Xbox One S is multi voltage so you can use any "figure of 8" power cord with a Xbox One S as long as it matches the power outlets of your country.
