    I bought an Xbox one s and my TV doesn't support it. What does a TV need to support Xbox one s? I don't want to buy the wrong TV.

    Hi! All HD TV's will work with Xbox one. If the tv is capable of doing 4k the Xbox will upscale it to that resolution. The xbox will only display the highest capable resolution that the tv allows

    It also could be because I have to update the Xbox One S. Hadn't played on it since my HDR TV broke. I just got a new one today.

    Thanks for yr reply, i assume as the Xbox One S i have was supplied with a good quality fast hdmi lead, but i'd imagine as this xbox one S is 4k 60hz compatible etc the lead supplied with it should be compatible with my new tv but its 4 years old, and
    i suppose what yr saying is i need a 4k uhd lead for the tv and xbox?

    Nope. Still not working and I can't get a reply in 3 months. This is a bummer because I'd love to buy an Xbox One X, but if I can't get the S to work with my new TV, there is no way I am going to buy a new console. It's crazy. My Playstation HDR works
    fine with my TV too.
