Xbox One S and Kinect Adapter

We had an Xbox 360 and upgraded to the One S at Christmas, and bought the Kinect that SUPPOSEDLY went with it. If I had known in advance that the Kinect had no plug in to the One S or that Microsoft was going to stop production of the adapter, I would NEVER
have bought it. And I will not buy another Xbox ever unless Microsoft reverses and make adapters available, either free or a REASONABLE price. Right now scalpers are selling for $200 and higher. Not happening!

Although this console is useful for playing DVDs and other games, I feel very cheated that I cannot play my Kinect games. I will be VERY careful in the future when this console is outdated or breaks and I'm in the market again.

You can see about trying to locate a standard or refurbished Xbox One. From what I've seen the original Xbox One style of consoles will go for around $150 and that has the Kinect port built in.

 

Appreciate the idea - I wound up finding a modded Kinect for $88.99. Hopefully it works! And I will sell my Kinect off to someone who has the original Xbox One - at least I will be upfront about it. Assuming this all goes well, I'm still pretty unhappy with
Microsoft. Really ratty thing to do.

 

I want to get a kinect and adapter for their Xbox one s for my daughter. When i purchased Xbox one s and kinect separately and then came to know it was discontinued it They should give or have something in the Inventory. i checked in the Retail market
and they are selling it for 200 - 250$ range which is unfair
