    Xbox One S and ACER P1185 Projector


    I have an Acer P1185 projector with native resolution 800x600 and supported resolution 1900x1200. When

    I connect the Xbox directly to the projector it does not recognize and does not send video to the projector unless I manually set the video output to DVI (even using HDMI cable) and 640x480 resolution!

    I already changed the cables, I already tested the Xbox on a TV, I already tested the projector on other devices (Bluray player and TV) and everything is working normally except when I connect the Xbox to the projector.

    Ideas?

    help with hooking up xbox 360 to acer c112 projector

    The Acer c112 projector shows the PAL-60 output, but colours are really messed up (reds and flesh tones are green!!) and lines run throughout the screen. is this an Acer fault or a xbox fault? btw when i play dvds whilst on PAL-60 everything is fine....
    I'm confussed as to what is going wrong with PAL-60 signal on the games side.

    Any further help or suggestions Zacabeb?

    before I take the projector back for a refund.... as I can't just play 50hz games as none of the games now state on the box if its PAL 50 or 60 anymore.

    user manual     of your Acer projector to find other settings you can try, or
    contact Acer     for more troubleshooting support. This seems to be an issue specifically with the projector alone, rather than the Xbox.

    By "beamer", do you mean a projector? What is the model number of your projector?

    What is also the resolution you are running your Xbox at? 720p? 1080p? 4K (if an Xbox One S)?

    Yes i mean a Projector! it is a BenQ TH681.

    When i Connect the XBox Directly to the Projector it Works without any Problems! But when i Go First to the Receiver and then to the projector i have a black screen and no sound

    Normally i Run a 1080p Resolution! (No One S ;) )
