Xbox One S: Achievements not unlocking, only Xbox 360 games

Hello everyone!

A frustrating situation here, and am writing to see if others are experiencing it. I observe that for at least two accounts on my Xbox One S, only achievements for Xbox 360 games are unlocking. Achievements for Xbox One games will not unlock.

This started to happen after I installed and played the Streets of Rage XBox 360 game from the current Games with Gold promotion. I played for a bit and was awarded some achievements, then a few days later, resumed playing Cuphead. I've since beaten Cuphead
and should therefore been awarded the "Defeat all Bosses on Inkwell Isle [2/3]" achievements. However, those have not been unlocked for my account. I should also have received some of the A-list achievements as well as some others involving getting all coins
and items.

To check if this is a Cuphead-related issue, I completed the "Two-fifty" achievement in Forza Motorsports 7 -- still, not reflected in my account. However, when I resumed playing Streets of Rage, I was awarded the "Declawer (Part II)" achievement (yesterday). I
removed the local Xbox 360 profile from Streets of Rage for my account and tried to unlock an existing Cuphead achievement -- no luck. Under another account on the console, I completed the "Two-Fifty" achievement again in Forza Motorsports 7, but it was not
awarded.

What could be going on here? I followed several of the suggestions to reboot the console (hard reset), remove and re-add accounts, visit the game hub, wait 72-hours (it has been over 1 week), etc..., but don't see any resolution. Periodically, I receive
a notification that the local cache is full and that this may affect achievements. My console is always online (confirmed via the network settings) so I'm not sure what might cause it to not synch. The console is also powered-down when not in use (not in
Instant-On mode).

Hi, I unlocked this four achievements in 2017/11/28. but when I check this four achievements on my Xbox One S or iOS Xbox App. The unlocking date is non-existented. When I use IE to check it in "account.xbox.com" ,the date is 1753/1/1. At that day , after I
unlocking this achievements, I also played another Xbox 360 game on my One S (Gear of War 2) and unlocked a achievement, its unlocking date is correct.

Please, how can I fix this problem?

 

Backward compatibility problem

I can unlock only achievement from Xbox one games,when I play on Xbox one,Xbox 360 achievement not unlocking while playing. I have a prove pic but I don't know how to post it here

 

Achievements are broken. I'm bumping every single topic about this and encourage others to do the same.

I think you are on to something with the 360 game being the cause of the issue. I haven't been able to unlock achievements in any Xbox One game since playing the 360 game Vanquish.

This is the only variable I believe is contributing to the cause. My neighbors don't report any achievement issues, but I suspect they don't play Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One.

Are there any volunteers in the forums who want to test this theory for us? All you need to do is unlock an XBox 360 game achievement, then try to unlock an XBox One game achievement afterwards.

but didn't have any luck.

I will try to remove both the local Xbox One and XBox 360 account profiles again, power cycle, add the Xbox One profile, and then try to unlock the achievement again. I think when I did this last, I didn't remove the 360 profile.

 

I figured this out -- it turns out my router's ad blocking software received an update that blacklisted some of Microsoft's domains. I added the following domains to the ad blocker's whitelist and the achievements are now pouring in!
