    Serious question. What the heck is up with this??? They discontinued the sale of Xbox one S 500gb system and there is NO mention as to why. It can only be bought in bundles which apparently once sold are gone for good and won’t be restocked. Same for the
    2tb version. Anyone know what’s up with that???

    Hey, Gizzmo! In the U.S., the launch edition 2TB Xbox One S will be available for $399 USD, the 1TB Xbox One S for $349 USD and 500GB Xbox One S for $299 USD. The 1TB and 500GB versions will be available for purchase after launch.

    update: from doing some research I found the 2tb version was a limited edition console but that still doesn’t explain the stopping sales of the 500gb console

    The Xbox One S console is now being sold including a game for about the same price as the console on it's own that will probably be why you are seeing the discontinued note against this product.

    Why do we have to wait for future XBOX One S consoles?

    Marketing. Also the discontinue of the X1 S 2TB version before the 1TB and 500GB console are released... since the original X1 already offer these storage sizes, it gave the people (like myself) the opportunity to get a 2TB HD.....
