    Hi everyone.

    Hope i'm posting this in the right place... I purchased an xbox one S 2TB console (fantastic console by the way!) and used it few a few weeks over wifi and everything works perfectly. I then changed rooms and connected it via ethernet to my Apple Airport
    Extreme (6th gen) router. It would only ever connect for a split-second and then would say cable unplugged. I tried every port on the router and also tried three different ethernet cable sets - always the same result. I even updated the firmware on the
    router and completely reset it - that didnt help either. All my other devices (including older 360 and xbox one consoles) work perfectly with the same set-up. I also engaged xbox support and they went through all the troubleshooting options with me and came
    to the conclusion that the ethernet port must be faulty. I sent it off for repair and have now received it back (different serial number too so must be a different console). Anyway, I connected it all up and turned it on and it did the same thing, ethernet
    connection would flicker connected and then would say cable unplugged! So I did some more extensive testing tonight and finally have the xbox one s connected and working via ethernet but only when connected directly to the modem. If it is connected to the
    Apple router, it does not connect longer than for a split-second.

    I guess to cut a long story short, has anyone else had problems with the xbox one S console and an Apple Aiport Extreme (6th gen) router over wired ethernet? At this point I'm thinking i might have to buy a new router.

    Connection test works. It's connected fine. Then I go to multiplayer test and get an error "Can't get Teredo IP address"

    Details as to my config.

    Cable goes to Arris modem.

    Arris modem is set to bridge mode.

    Arris modem connected via ethernet to Apple airport extreme, which acts as wifi router for my house.

    airport extreme ALSO has an ethernet cable connected directly to the xbox one.

    But I'm still getting strict nat.

    Plus the "can't get teredo IP" error.

    Are you connecting via Wi-Fi to the AirPort Extreme or via Ethernet cable? I've used an AirPort on my home network in the past with Xbox consoles with no issues (I currently use a Netgear router, for sake of full disclosure).

    Is it running in modem only mode?
