Xbox One S(2020) freezing when Thrustmaster 458 connected

Just to give an update, the matter has been RESOLVED. It has come through via new xbox OS update. For me, since I removed my console from xbox insider preview, update wasn’t showing. I had to re-join xbox insider preview. I selected the Omega version. The console was then updated and I did a restart. Everything seems to be back to normal. F1 2021 is working fine, both steering and pedals. No lag in game or at the menu.

Hope the problem has been resolved for others as well. Thanks to everyone who raised the issue with xbox support.

I have the same issues on my Xbox one with the thrustmaster tax servo wheel base and the Ferrari f1 add on wheel, and tried to do all of the console resets, and nothing seem to fix the problem. @hazimafzal, have you managed to fix yours?

I finally fixed it. I joined the insider hub preview and had an update for the console. It’s working just fine so far.

Hi. I did initially but the problem is back again after the another update a day or two ago. So i am without a solution with this current xbox update.

You can try the previous fix. So get into your xbox insider hub, open manage devices and un-enrol/remove your xbox from it. Then restart the xbox or it will automatically restart. Your xbox will start from scratch so you have to plug in all log-ins and wifi etc. but settings will remain because it will locate your profile settings. Then try the game with steering wheel. Hope it works for you.

It worked for me and i had a good week or so but with current update its back to the same problem. I have tried reversing insider hub stuff but gotten nowhere.
