    Hello,

    I have an xbox one S and i am using an Asus Tuf VG27AQ. The monitor supports 165Hz 1440p and has freesync. I can get 120 at 1080p and 60 at 1440p... but i cannot get 1440p and 120Hz.

    i bought this monitor for the series X. Im hoping this will work with the series x bexause many people reccomended this monitor.

    By the way I might have made a mistake in my question. Obviously the full potential of the monitor is 1440p@144 hz but I am only looking for 1440p@120 hz

    What resolution are you trying to run at

    If 4k 120 Hz then no it won't run at thaf

    The max for series s is 1440p at 120hz

    It will play at 4k bur only some games and with issues

    The series s is meant for 1080p 120 max

    With suggested 90hz

    The xbox series x and ps5 and switch pro are the only 4k consoles

    One x does 4k at 30hz and ps4 pro upscales

    Hey SFL!

    The Xbox One X is capped at 120Hz at 1080p and 1440p resolutions, but can do 4k UHD at 60 Hz. Unfortunately the Xbox cannot go higher than 120 Hz at the moment.

    By any chance does your monitor have a setting to dial it down to 120 Hz?

    Displaying 1440p on Xbox one X

    So i got 1440p and 120 hz to show up as options by turning auto detect off. I now have it working at 1080p 60 hz. But when i try 120hz i get purple lines and when i try to switch to 1440p it loads for a min then says not supported. Which im quite certain
    it is compatible.
