    Hi Microsoft,

    Thanks for selling us a console that has lasted just over 14 months. I have since been advised to pay another £130 to have it repaired as your warranty has expired by 2 months. I will now pass on the information that your product has a lifespan of only one
    year and propose that a PS4 is the way to go and put the £130 towards that.

    Feel free to contact me and I will happily explain that the console is used by a 9 and 7 year old child mostly at weekends with time restrictions and parental guidance so no breakages, falls or impacts. I have had issues with controllers and headsets previously
    in fact it really comes across as a pretty bad piece of equipment. I won't expect a reply I just wanted to voice my opinion and will take my business elsewhere!!!

    Your xbox console will last as long as you keep and maintain it no matter the quantity of time you use it is the quality that counts. I still have my trusted Xbox One Elite performing the same as the first day so it all comes down to the usage of the equipment.

    A console failing just comes down to bad luck in my experience.

    My xbox one S was purchased at launch and its still fine as of now, I have seen consoles break very quickly (had a 360 break in only 2 hours of use from brand new)

    Theres no real guarantee with any electrical equipment that it will last beyond a year thats why everyone covers with only a one year warranty.
